Note: The tool UI is in Swedish, but the workflow is purely visual — drop files, pick a size, download. File processing is identical.

Krymp resizes images locally using the browser's Canvas API. Choose the longest side (1080, 1920 or 2560 px are one-click presets), a percentage of the original, or exact width and height with an aspect-ratio lock. Output formats include JPG, PNG and WebP, plus a quality slider for fine control over file size.

Free for unlimited use — no daily caps, no watermark, no sign-up. Works on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android in any modern browser. Sensitive screenshots, ID scans and product photos stay on your device.

Private. Files are processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Free, unlimited. No account, no watermark, no daily caps.

How it works

  1. 1Drop your images. Add JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC files. Multiple files are fine — pick from any folder.
  2. 2Pick the new size. Longest side (1080 / 1920 / 2560 px), a percentage (25 / 50 / 75 %) or exact pixel width and height.
  3. 3Hit Resize. Krymp renders new files locally in your browser using the Canvas API — nothing is uploaded.
  4. 4Download. Save each image, or grab the whole batch as a .zip. New dimensions are added to the filename automatically.

FAQ

Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and HEIC (iPhone) as input. You can keep the original format or export as JPG, PNG or WebP.
Can I set exact pixel dimensions?
Yes. Switch to the "Exact pixels" mode and type width and/or height. Toggle "Lock aspect ratio" if you only want to specify one.
How is this different from compression?
Resizing reduces the pixel dimensions (e.g. 4000 → 1920 px). Compression keeps the dimensions but reduces file size. This tool does the first, plus a light compression via the quality slider.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API. No uploads, no accounts, no logs.
Is there a limit on how many images I can process?
No. Resize as many images as you want — speed is only limited by your device.
