Krymp upscales images locally using a WebGPU-accelerated super-resolution model. Recover detail from low-resolution product shots, web thumbnails or old screenshots without uploading the file or paying per-image like Upscayl or Topaz.
Free, unlimited, private. Works on modern desktop browsers and recent mobiles.
Private. Files are processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Free, unlimited. No account, no watermark, no daily caps.
How it works
- 1Open the tool. Drop a small JPG, PNG or WebP image.
- 2Pick a scale. 2× or 4× depending on how much detail you need to recover.
- 3Wait for AI to enhance. A WebGPU model runs in your browser to add convincing detail.
- 4Download. Save the higher-resolution image locally.
FAQ
- Is my image sent to a server?
- No. AI upscaling runs in your browser using WebGPU. Your image never leaves the device.
- How does it compare to Topaz / Upscayl?
- Quality is comparable for portraits, product shots and digital art. Topaz still wins on photographic detail and very large outputs.
- Does it work on phones?
- It depends on memory and WebGPU support. A modern iPhone or Android with Chrome handles 2× upscales well; 4× often needs a desktop.
- What sizes are supported?
- Input up to ~2048 × 2048 px works smoothly. Output can be 4× that. Memory is the practical limit.
- Is it free?
- Yes. No account, no watermark, no usage cap.
