How do I make a map poster for A3 print?

Open Krymp Map, search the place, pick A3 portrait or landscape, pick a style (or build your own palette), add title and optional frame (Polaroid/Paper). Export as PDF at 4× — 300 DPI, ready to send to any print shop. All in the browser, no signup.

Style tips for posters

Calm wall poster: Paper, Patina or Pastel. Dramatic: Noir, Midnight or Neon. Technical / architectural: Blueprint or Mono.

Frame, type & text

Add a thin border, polaroid or paper frame to make the map feel like artwork rather than a screenshot. Pick a Google Font — Bebas Neue and Archivo Black are classic poster faces; Playfair Display and Cormorant feel more elegant.

Print checklist

Export PDF at 4×. Check the print shop preview for trims (some cut 3 mm). Want to tweak typography or colors in Illustrator/Figma after? Use SVG export so the text stays real vector.

Fully local, fully free

Rendering happens in your browser. No signup, no watermark, no export limit. Big or small — same flow every time.

Vanliga frågor

Which file type for a print shop?

PDF at 4× is the safest pick — vector-friendly and high resolution. SVG works too if the shop accepts it and you want to keep typography editable.

How many pixels is the poster?

A3 at 4× = 9933×14043 px (300 DPI). A4 at 4× = 7016×9933 px. Both are plenty for print up to those paper sizes without visible pixels.

Can I use my own color palette?

Yes — "Custom colors" lets you change background, water, roads and text. Saves locally and can be shared via a copy-link.
