Wedding map for invitations

A small map of the ceremony venue makes the invitation personal — and practical: guests instantly see where to go. Krymp Map produces print-ready circles, A4 or A3 entirely in the browser, no account.

How do I make a map for a wedding invitation?

Open Krymp Map, search the venue, pick the Pastel or Warm style and the Circle or A4 format. Add the text overlay with place and date, export as PDF at 4× for print. The map renders in your browser so you can try styles without uploading the address.

Circle or full page?

Circle medallions are classic on save-the-dates and fit next to the names. Full page (A4 or A3) works as a separate "find your way" sheet in the envelope or as a sign at the entrance.

Style sets the tone

Pastel is soft and romantic — good for traditional weddings. Warm leans sienna/terracotta — fits outdoor and rustic themes. Krymp shows a live preview so you can A/B both fast.

Print quality

Export at 4× — 300 DPI for A4 and A3, which matches wedding printers' specs. PNG if the map sits on a decorated background, PDF if it's dropped into a template.

Tip: combine with a moodboard

Put the map in a Krymp Moodboard with flowers, colour swatches and inspiration — then send everything to the printer or wedding planner in one PDF.

Vanliga frågor

Can I use the map on printed invitations?

Yes. OpenStreetMap data is free for commercial print too. Add "© OpenStreetMap contributors" on the back of the card or on the wedding site.

What resolution does the printer need?

Export at 4× — that's ~300 DPI for A4 (2480×3508 px) and A3, which standard wedding printers require.

Can I make a round map medallion?

Yes. Pick the Circle format — the map is cropped to a perfect circle with transparent background (PNG) or white (JPG).
