FAQ

Why convert HEIC to JPG?
Windows, older Outlook, many web forms and most non-Apple devices don't read HEIC. JPG works everywhere.
Does converting lose quality?
JPG at 85–90 % quality is visually indistinguishable from the HEIC original for almost all photos.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything runs in WebAssembly inside your browser. The photo never leaves your device.
Can I batch convert?
Yes — drop dozens of HEIC files at once and download a ZIP with all the JPGs.
Will EXIF (date, GPS) be preserved?
By default, Krymp preserves EXIF so date/time stays intact. You can strip GPS separately if needed.
